Welcome to Cesky Krumlov a small medieval town 25 kilometers south of Ceske Budejovice, it is one of the most pictureque towns in Europe.
Situated on the banks of the Vltava River, the town is built around a 13th-century castle with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. The castle is second
only to Prague Castle in size and splendour. It is an outstanding example of a small central European medieval town with an architectural heritage that still
remains intact thanks to its peaceful evolution over more than five centuries.
Nevertheless Cesky Krumlov does not remain only an historical open-air museum, but it is a living city with the typical and unique offer of cultural and social activities. Any visitor could spend several pleasant days here discovering the beauties of the town and its surroundings. |
